BRITTANY SCHIAVONE
Founder
Brittany Schiavone is the founder of Brittany’s Baskets of Hope. To date, Brittany has led the way in delivering over 1000 baskets to families in all 50 states across the country and has spoken at schools, colleges, and conferences throughout Long Island. Brittany and her baskets of hope have been featured on Extra TV, ABC7, Forbes.com, FOXBusiness.com, The Mighty, elephant journal, and on News 12 Long Island, where she was selected as one of their “12 Making a Difference” in 2016.
In 2019, Brittany was named the L'Oreal Paris Woman of Worth National Honoree at a star-studded gala. The award celebrated her commitment to serving her community.
Beyond her role with Brittany’s Baskets, Brittany currently holds several part-time jobs. Brittany is also currently involved in Consolidated Support Services, and is leading a full, self-determined life.
Brittany graduated from Walt Whitman High School and holds an IEP diploma. In the fall of 2016, she enrolled in college courses for the first time through Hofstra University’s CMA Live Wire program and she now attends classes through Positive Behavior Support Community Foundation at Stony Brook University.
ROCCO SCHIAVONE
President
Rocco Schiavone serves as President of Brittany’s Baskets of Hope—and Brittany's dad. Prior to his involvement with Brittany’s Baskets of Hope, Rocco spent over 33 years with the Depository Trust and Clearing Corp., where he worked in Information Technology, servicing the Financial Industry on a worldwide scale. He is currently retired from this role. Rocco has also served on the Board of Directors for the Association for Children with Down Syndrome, currently known as ACDS. 

Rocco graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
SUSAN SCHIAVONE
Vice President
Susan Schiavone serves as Vice President of Brittany’s Baskets of Hope—and is Brittany's loving mom. She formerly served as the Parent Liaison for At-Risk Students for the South Huntington School District. Prior to that position, Susan was professionally involved in special education for over 33 years, including multiple board positions in the South Huntington Special Education PTA. Susan graduated from Hofstra University with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Education, Special Education, and Psychology, and a Masters of Science degree in Special Education.
JUSTIN SCHIAVONE
Vice President
Justin Schiavone serves as Vice President of Brittany’s Baskets of Hope, since 2014. He is also a School Psychologist at Kings Park High School, with experience working with children from preschool through high school level. Justin graduated from Sacred Heart University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. He also holds a Master’s degree and Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology from Alfred University. Justin is currently working toward the completion of his doctoral dissertation.
ANTHONY ALIZZI
Treasurer
Anthony Alizzi serves as Treasurer of Brittany’s Baskets of Hope, since 2014. Prior to his involvement with Brittany’s Baskets of Hope, Tony gained over 35 years of experience in public accounting, corporate finance, management consulting, and corporate real estate.

Anthony graduated from Boston University’s School of Management and Graduate School of Management. He is a CPA in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
MORGAN WELWOOD
Communications Director and Board Secretary
Morgan serves as Secretary and Communications Director for Brittany’s Baskets of Hope. Morgan has been working as a Direct Support Professional since 2013. Morgan graduated from Saint Joseph’s College with a degree in Psychology and Religious Studies.
